I've been dealing with a bunch of problems at school lately. Oh, I'm getting good grades, and all that. But the main thing is that I'm a BIG procrastinator. I've been hit with a LOT of big projects in a short amount of time, and getting that all done with HW and other issues. . .it's just enough to wear somebody out.
You noticed I said something made my day, though?? Why yes, something did! Not that I was having a horribly bad day today; I mean, I was tired, and I had homework, and there's an essay due tomorrow that I still have to work on, but I can't because I left my pencil sharpener at school along with all my good pencils. . .and I had computer keyboarding, in which I firmly believe that my teacher is a sadist. No kidding! She makes us keep our feet on the floor, and even when she well knows that my wrists hurt, she makes me do extra work because she knows I'm a fast typer and my wrists get sore very easily! I think she video tapes us and then watches the tape at the end of the day, so she can laugh at our pain. . .and then, in this fantasy, I come out of nowhere with a sword, and she takes out a lance, and we do this epic battle of wits and strength, where my sword is knocked away. BUT just before she's about to kill me, this hot guy(I won't say who, since if I did, I would never be able to live it down. . .just trust me when I say he is EXTREMELY HOT.) comes out of nowhere and just BLINKS, causing my teacher to explode into ashes. Then me and this hot guy make out and then run off into the sunset.
Yes, I do have a HUGE imagination. Why do you ask?
Anyway, the thing that made my day(I mentioned it, remember? Before I got into the big fantasy.) was when I was walking home. I am a fast walker; actually, a fast person in general(NO, NOT IN THAT WAY!!!!). I mean I tend to get things done quickly(and accuratly, if we were talking about math class), which also means that I walk quickly. So I was walking along, passing people on the way home, when suddenly two of these guys pass me and one of them yells," It's the Daytona 500! YEA!!!"
I had to bite my lip to keep from laughing.
I passed them again, and they passed me once more. I whack one of them with my jacket, and they kept at it. When they finally walk off the sidewalk, I made a comment about them going to a pit stop.
"Why do you say that?" one of the boys asked.
"Simple. You're going off the track."
It was kind of cool, seeing as they turned a boring part of the day into a fun part. Strangly, I have had no luck with learning to do that(yes, I know; how strange), and it was cool. That ONE thing made my day. Wow.

I love when something simple happens to brighten up a bad day :) It's so funny how it's the little things like that that you tend to look back on and remember, huh?
