I'm so irritated by blogger right not that I'm not going to switch the order of the pics. It's just too annoying.
Anyway, sorry about that! This just irritates me all the time, and it's part of the reason you don't see many pics on here. . .I'm sorry! I'm not in a crabby mood, I'm actually in a good mood. . .well, I guess that's a bit of an oxymoron. What was I talking about? Oh never mind! :P
. . .

I've gotten better with the camera, don't you think? I should take a
photography class in high school. . .
Have a good day y'all!

In High Tide
Apparently it's "Mess with Tamera's Head" Day, because I can't find a thing. I couldn't find my dad's camera, then mine decided to have a low battery the minute I used it! It's actually kind of funny. . . but hilarious or not, there are no pics. Sorry, but the universe decided to play with my mind and screw with me. That'll explain the headache. :P But I'm OK. I've only been awake an hour and I can find something funny to laugh about. . .and yes, I did get up at 12. Um. . .sorry to my mother, who might be reading this!
Anyway, that's not the high tide I was talking about! It's that I found out a horrible fact, one that will chill the bones of spinners everywhere.
I have little fiber.
Oh yeah, I have llama and corriedale and 1 pound of this really nice stuff, aka corriedale and falkland, plus sink hankies, cotton, and silk too! The problem is that all of this is either:
1. out of my reach, or
2. not colorful.
I'm glad for it, and I will DEFINATLY use it, but I'm not sure if it will last the tour. Just look again at my goals:
1. Spin every single day.
2. Get a yardage of at least 150yd. at least twice.
3. Work on processing a bag of fiber I got.
See the bold one? That's the one I'm worried about. I spun a LOT yesterday, so. . .
But who knows! I will try to see if I can't get some more. I have $10 and an extra $8(at least at the end of the week), so maybe I can do something about that IF I can get lucky and get Spin Control soon. If I'm lucky, then I will get it with ease, even though it is somewhat expensive. . .but that's me talking, and I have a small allowance anyway, so. . .but that's my opinion. I'll see what happens.
I wish I could tell you more, like that I'm doing well on all my goals, except I'm really not. . .I haven't gotten more than 150yd yet(though I have gotten around 80!), and I haven't worked on the 100g. of locks yet for my third goal. Luckily for me though, I am doing well at spinning every day so far, so YAY ME! Life totally rocks when you have stuff to work towards.
Have a good "Mess with Tamera's Head" Day! LOL!

Tour de Fleece part 1
Horray, a post!
Well, I've decided what my challenge for the Tour de Fleece will be:
1. Spin every single day.
2. Get a yardage of at least 150yd. at least twice.
3. Work on processing a bag of fiber I got.
Doesn't seem too big, though I know I'll be a bit lacking. So most likely I'll be a lantern rouge. . .:P
In the meantime, school has been out and I've been having a good time with a new game(well, watching a new game) and with knitting and WIP Wrestling(sponsered by Ravelympics :P), so lots of things have been going on. So I better go so I can work on it all!

I'm so so sorry!
I know, I keep jumping off the face of the earth. . .please forgive me! I've been really busy lately with school, then I went on vacation, so. . .I'm sorry I've disappeared!
But, enough with that! I want to tell you that I have decided to enter the Tour de Fleece! It starts really soon, like July 4th soon, so I can't wait to get up and spin! As for what I'm going to do. . .I have yet to think on that. I'm thinking trying to get a plied yardage of at least 150yds or more. . .is that at bit too big? I also think I want to spin a bit each day. . . it's summer vacation, so I have the time to do that.
Other than that, I have nothing else to say other than my new first GIRL cousin Karen is the cutest baby in the world!!!! I'm sitting next to her now. She is so cute, but I expect her to start crying any moment now. She's been filling her diaper, so she'll probably be crying soon. I LOVE HER! She's just about destroyed my right eardrum by screaming in it, but she can get away with it because she is so cute!!!!
I have to go on baby-patrol now, so excuse me. . .I promise to be back later!

I'm back Babay!
Can you dig it?
I apologize for my long absense; school has been really busy, not to mention my new cousins arriving. . .and I'll be going up to Canada again! I am so happy about that.
Yesterday I spent the day getting crippled arms. Why? Because of something I like to call toys.I was testing these little fellas for a friend of mine; aren't they the cutest?? I made them for my two new cousins.
This was my first little guy/test. . .
. . .and this was the second little test!
This was put for scale. It kinda looks like they're being arrested for cuteness!
See, they have their own mug shots!
This was sorta what the stitches look like; I was using Peaches/Sugar and Creme/Cream. It's so cute! <3
Here are more tests of the macro function!Pretty good, right?
And, of course, they're famous before they were born. . .Sorry Harry Potter! You may be the Boy who Lived, but you aren't allowed a red carpet entrance!
. . .
. . .you can tell what I've been reading, huh?Yep, some Harry Potter! They're so talented, they can read from when they were born.
I'm making another one of these cuties for myself right now; but first, I need to let my arms heal. Making stuff for babies is harder than it looks!

Things I want to make before I get old. . .
(um, yeah.)
* President Obama Finger Puppet because how cool would it be to have Obama with me! :P
* Pi Shawl I know that it's in a book, but still. . . I'd like to buy the book too, actually!
* Miittens because I have 2 cousins on the way, and anybody who says that isn't cute is simply kidding themselves. Here's the link to the pattern, if you aren't a ravelry user: http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter08/PATTmiittens.php
* Little Ninja because that is awesome.
* YES YOU CAN Market Bag because I told the designer I would, plus it is so AWESOME!!!
* Cherie Amour since it looks so cool in that yarn, that I want one exactly like it. :P
* Arch Shaped Socks if you're my mother, you'll know why.
* Lala Scarf because dude, this would be PERFECT for handspun!
* Tempest it's something I can WEAR!
* Felted Spinning Wheel Bag since it'd be useful
* Bowtie scarf because after Jennifer did it, now I need to as well. :P
* Ten-Stitch blanket because if you don't think that's awesome, then you are a non-knitter!
In other news: I'm designing a TON, so I may have a design or two to post here. BUT one is being kept under wraps. . .you know, it's privete stuff. But the pattern I can tell you about is about a pair of baby booties. It's nothing real complicated; just a simple pattern. But I'm having a ton of fun with it!!! I can't wait to show you my prototypes, once I get a hand on the camera!

O Knitty
O Dear Knitty,
why must you torture me so?
Whenever I get to your glorious webpage,
I will for it to glow,
With a new pattern! A new article,
To be blessed u-pon me,
I pray for so long,
that it will show a tree
A tree to signify,
the brand new group of things,
The spring issue to bloom upon me,
Anything with figs. (does that rhyme? I don't know. . .)
But why can't I have it?
This new issue??
If I don't have my Knitty soon,
I'm going to need a tissue.
